Production Manager / Shop Foreman

Develop and maintain the daily and near-term production schedule in coordination with project managers and department leads.

Assign technicians, work areas, equipment, and shop resources based on priorities, skill requirements, and project readiness.

Monitor progress against planned hours, milestones, customer commitments, and material availability.

Coordinate handoffs among engineering, fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical, paint and body, parts, service, and quality control.

Lead daily production meetings and clearly communicate priorities, constraints, changes, and safety concerns.

Identify and resolve workflow conflicts, missing information, parts delays, rework, and technical issues that could affect production.

Enforce shop procedures for safety, vehicle protection, timekeeping, documentation, tool control, cleanliness, and workmanship.

Provide coaching and practical floor leadership while remaining available to support complex work and technical problem solving.

Strong shop-floor leadership experience in custom automotive, restoration, collision, service, fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar environment.

Practical knowledge of automotive production sequencing and the dependencies among fabrication, mechanical, electrical, body, paint, and final assembly work.

Ability to plan labor, manage competing priorities, and adjust schedules as project conditions change.

Demonstrated ability to lead skilled tradespeople, resolve conflicts, and hold team members accountable professionally.

Comfort using production schedules, work orders, time records, checklists, and shop-management systems.

Strong attention to safety, organization, vehicle protection, and quality documentation.

Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with project managers, parts personnel, quality staff, and customers when needed.

Valid driver’s license and ability to safely move and road-test vehicles when assigned.
