Responsibilities

Develop complete electrical architecture, power distribution, grounding, circuit protection, controls, and system-integration plans.

Create wiring diagrams, harness layouts, connector schedules, pinouts, labels, test procedures, and service documentation.

Integrate EFI and engine-management systems, gauges, lighting, HVAC controls, audio, infotainment, cameras, security, and accessories.

Select appropriate wire sizes, connectors, relays, modules, charging components, batteries, and protection devices.

Support harness fabrication, installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and corrective work performed by electrical technicians.

Coordinate interfaces among original vehicle systems, aftermarket products, modern drivetrains, CAN-based devices, and custom controls.

Perform voltage-drop, continuity, load, charging, parasitic-draw, communication, and functional testing.

Support EV or high-voltage system planning and safety coordination when assigned and properly qualified.

Requirements
-
Demonstrated automotive electrical design, wiring, diagnostics, or systems-integration experience.

Strong knowledge of 12-volt power distribution, grounding, relays, circuit protection, charging systems, connectors, and harness construction.

Ability to read and create schematics, pinout documentation, harness diagrams, and diagnostic records.

Experience integrating EFI, digital instrumentation, audio/infotainment, lighting, HVAC controls, or networked vehicle devices.

Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, scan tools, current clamps, and other electrical test equipment as applicable.

Careful workmanship, organized documentation, logical troubleshooting, and strong attention to serviceability.

High-voltage training or certification required before independently performing EV high-voltage work.

Relevant ASE, OEM, electronics, or electrical credentials are beneficial.
