Senior Custom Fabricator / Lead Fabricator

Lead complex custom fabrication, metal shaping, chassis modification, structural repair, exhaust, mounting, and component-integration work.

Review drawings, measurements, mockups, materials, tooling, and proposed fabrication methods before work begins.

Assign work and provide hands-on coaching, technical direction, quality review, and problem solving for fabrication personnel.

Develop jigs, fixtures, templates, and repeatable methods that improve accuracy and efficiency.

Coordinate fabrication details with engineering, body, mechanical, electrical, parts, project management, and quality control.

Maintain high standards for weld quality, alignment, fitment, strength, finish, serviceability, and vehicle protection.

Support material planning, tool and equipment needs, shop organization, and safe work practices.

Document completed work, measurements, changes, and as-built conditions when required.

Extensive custom automotive, restoration, race-car, hot-rod, prototype, coachbuilding, or comparable fabrication experience.

Advanced TIG and MIG welding skills with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as applicable.

Strong sheet-metal shaping, fitting, measuring, fixturing, and component-packaging ability.

Ability to interpret drawings, digital models, specifications, templates, and direct vehicle measurements.

Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, planning, and quality-control ability in a fabrication environment.

Knowledge of chassis, body structure, exhaust, mounts, clearances, heat management, and serviceability.

Commitment to safe equipment use, clean workmanship, organization, and protection of high-value vehicles.

A portfolio, photographs, references, or practical weld/fabrication demonstration may be requested.
