Responsibilities

Fabricate custom sheet-metal parts, brackets, mounts, panels, structural components, exhaust systems, and related assemblies.

Measure, mark, cut, bend, form, fit, tack, weld, grind, and finish materials accurately.

Perform TIG and MIG welding on appropriate steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.

Work from drawings, models, templates, specifications, mockups, and direct vehicle measurements.

Test-fit components and verify alignment, clearances, strength, serviceability, and appearance before final welding or finishing.

Coordinate changes and technical questions with the Lead Fabricator, engineering, project management, and affected departments.

Maintain tools, equipment, work areas, material identification, and vehicle-protection measures.

Document work and follow applicable safety, quality, and inspection procedures.

Requirements
-
Demonstrated welding and metal-fabrication experience; custom automotive or restoration experience preferred.

Working TIG and MIG welding ability and familiarity with common fabrication tools and equipment.

Ability to measure accurately and work from drawings, templates, models, and physical mockups.

Understanding of material selection, heat control, distortion, fit-up, clearances, and finishing practices.

Strong attention to fit, finish, structural integrity, cleanliness, and vehicle protection.

Ability to troubleshoot fitment challenges and communicate proposed solutions before making irreversible changes.

Commitment to safe tool use, PPE, housekeeping, and team coordination.

A portfolio or practical skills demonstration may be requested.
