Tow Truck Operator / Vehicle Transport Specialist

Operate rollback, flatbed, wheel-lift, trailer, or enclosed vehicle-transport equipment as assigned and properly qualified.

Inspect, load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using appropriate attachment points, tie-down methods, clearances, and protection measures.

Document vehicle condition before pickup and after delivery, including photographs and required customer or company records.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, winches, hydraulics, tires, lights, straps, chains, and safety equipment.

Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers, shop personnel, vendors, event staff, and service providers.

Assist with disabled-vehicle recovery and roadside transportation within limits of training, equipment, and company policy.

Maintain driver logs, mileage, fuel, inspection, maintenance, incident, and transportation documentation.

Keep towing and transport equipment clean, organized, presentable, and ready for safe operation.

Valid driver’s license appropriate for equipment operated, with required endorsements/CDL where applicable.

Acceptable driving record meeting company and insurance requirements.

Experience operating rollback, flatbed, wheel-lift, trailer, or enclosed transport equipment; specialty-vehicle experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of vehicle securement, recovery basics, weight limits, clearance management, and safe loading procedures.

Ability to handle classic, custom, low-clearance, non-running, custom-painted, and high-value vehicles with exceptional care.

Professional communication, customer-service, documentation, and time-management skills.

Ability to travel locally or regionally and work occasional early, late, weekend, or event-related assignments.
