Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles and operate two-wheel and four-wheel dynamometer equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.

Perform baseline testing, EFI calibration, fuel and ignition adjustments, data logging, drivability tuning, and final validation.

Review air-fuel ratio, boost, temperatures, pressure, ignition, knock, load, communication, and other relevant data.

Diagnose calibration, fuel-delivery, ignition, sensor, mechanical, thermal, traction, and drivability concerns.

Coordinate required mechanical or electrical corrections with service, engineering, fabrication, and build personnel.

Document vehicle configuration, software versions, calibration files, test conditions, results, changes, and customer reports.

Maintain dyno equipment, sensors, ventilation, tie-downs, fans, safety systems, software, and controlled test areas.

Support road testing, performance upgrades, forced-induction systems, commissioning, and quality validation.

Requirements
-
Demonstrated EFI calibration, engine-management, performance diagnostics, or dyno-testing experience.

Working knowledge of gasoline engine operation, fuel and ignition control, sensors, wideband oxygen systems, forced induction, and drivability.

Experience with common aftermarket or OEM calibration platforms, logging software, scan tools, and test equipment.

Ability to analyze data, identify mechanical versus calibration concerns, and make controlled changes safely.

Strong understanding of dyno setup, vehicle securement, ventilation, cooling airflow, tire condition, and test-cell safety.

Careful file management, documentation, version control, and protection of customer calibrations and technical information.

Valid driver’s license and ability to safely road-test high-performance vehicles.

Relevant tuning, manufacturer, motorsport, ASE, or technical certifications are beneficial.
