Alignment, Suspension and Wheel/Tire Technician

Perform multi-wheel alignments, suspension inspections, ride-height setup, corner balancing, and chassis measurements.

Diagnose steering, suspension, brake, tire-wear, vibration, tracking, clearance, and handling concerns.

Mount, balance, install, rotate, repair, and inspect wheels and tires using appropriate equipment and protection methods.

Evaluate custom wheel dimensions, offsets, backspacing, tire sizing, load rating, brake clearance, body clearance, and suspension travel.

Install or adjust springs, coilovers, shocks, control arms, steering components, sway bars, brakes, and related hardware when assigned.

Document before-and-after measurements, settings, torque values, observations, and customer recommendations.

Coordinate fitment or fabrication concerns with engineering, service, build, body, and quality personnel.

Maintain alignment, balancing, tire, lift, measurement, and calibration equipment.

Professional alignment, suspension, steering, brake, wheel, or tire-service experience.

Ability to operate modern alignment, wheel-balancing, tire-mounting, lifting, and measurement equipment.

Strong understanding of suspension geometry, steering, ride height, wheel offset, tire sizing, clearances, torque, and road behavior.

Experience with lowered, performance, classic, custom, wide-tire, or specialty vehicles is strongly preferred.

Exceptional care when handling custom wheels, painted surfaces, low-profile tires, brake components, and low-clearance vehicles.

Ability to document settings, diagnose concerns, and communicate recommendations clearly.

Valid driver’s license and ability to safely road-test vehicles.

ASE suspension/steering or related certifications are beneficial.

Precision alignment and chassis setup equipment.

Hands-on work on custom stance, track-focused, and restomod suspension systems.

Clean, safety-first shop environment.
