Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, engine, transmission, and related systems.

Use service information, scan tools, meters, pressure and vacuum tools, test equipment, and systematic diagnostic procedures.

Prepare complete findings, recommended repairs, labor needs, parts requirements, measurements, and supporting documentation.

Perform maintenance, component replacement, adjustment, fluid service, leak repair, troubleshooting, and road testing.

Work carefully with vehicles that combine vintage components, modern drivetrains, aftermarket systems, custom wiring, and fabricated parts.

Coordinate additional findings and changes with service leadership before proceeding beyond authorized work.

Complete quality checks, torque procedures, cleanup, vehicle protection, and repair-order documentation.

Maintain tools, equipment, training, and safe work practices.

Requirements
-
Professional automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostic experience.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and a logical, test-based diagnostic approach.

Experience with classic, performance, custom, restoration, or modified vehicles is highly valuable.

Ability to use service information, scan tools, meters, test equipment, lifts, alignment references, and standard shop tools.

Accurate documentation, organization, time-management, cleanliness, and vehicle-protection habits.

Ability to communicate findings clearly and work collaboratively with advisors, parts staff, and other technicians.

Valid driver’s license and ability to safely road-test customer vehicles.

ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred.
