Responsibilities

Define project scope, assumptions, milestones, budgets, selections, documentation needs, and customer communication plans.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in coordination with production leadership and department managers.

Coordinate engineering, parts, fabrication, body, paint, mechanical, electrical, upholstery, quality, subcontractor, and delivery activities.

Monitor labor, materials, commitments, risks, changes, and forecasted completion dates throughout the project.

Prepare customer updates, selections, approvals, change orders, progress documentation, and decision logs.

Identify missing information, long-lead items, technical conflicts, and budget or schedule risks before they interrupt production.

Lead milestone reviews and confirm that work is ready to move to the next phase.

Coordinate final validation, customer delivery, closeout records, warranty transition, and post-delivery follow-up.

Requirements
-
Project-management experience in custom automotive, restoration, manufacturing, construction, motorsports, fabrication, or another project-based environment.

Strong understanding of scope, schedule, budget, procurement, change management, documentation, and customer communication.

Sufficient automotive technical knowledge to coordinate engineering, fabrication, mechanical, electrical, paint/body, and interior work effectively.

Excellent organization, written communication, meeting leadership, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple complex projects, changing priorities, and long-duration customer commitments.

Proficiency with scheduling, project-management, CRM, spreadsheet, document, and shop-management software.

Professional judgment when discussing cost, schedule, scope changes, quality concerns, and confidential customer information.

Relevant project-management certification is helpful but not required when supported by strong experience.
