Finish, Detail and Surface Protection Technician

Perform wet sanding, compounding, polishing, paint correction, swirl removal, and final finish refinement.

Clean and detail exterior surfaces, interiors, glass, wheels, tires, engine compartments, trunks, beds, and underhood areas.

Apply approved ceramic coatings, sealants, waxes, dressings, and surface-protection products.

Inspect paint, trim, glass, upholstery, hardware, emblems, wheels, and final presentation for cosmetic concerns.

Protect delicate paint, custom materials, polished metals, coated surfaces, and specialty finishes during handling and cleaning.

Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, photography, vehicle reveals, trade shows, and automotive events.

Maintain clean tools, pads, towels, chemicals, equipment, work areas, and product inventory.

Document and communicate defects requiring paint, body, assembly, upholstery, or quality-control correction.

Professional automotive detailing, paint correction, cut-and-buff, show-car preparation, or related finish experience.

Knowledge of paint systems, polishing compounds, pads, wet-sanding techniques, ceramic coatings, and safe cleaning products.

Exceptional eye for scratches, swirls, sanding marks, contamination, residue, overspray, trim concerns, and presentation details.

Ability to work safely around fresh paint, custom upholstery, polished surfaces, delicate trim, and high-value vehicles.

Strong cleanliness, organization, patience, consistency, and vehicle-protection habits.

Ability to follow product instructions and communicate defects without attempting unauthorized repairs.

Valid driver’s license preferred.

A portfolio or examples of paint correction and high-end detailing work may be requested.
