Provides complete leadership and operational oversight for the 1776 Customs facility, managing departments, staffing, production, customer commitments, and financial performance.
Directs daily shop floor operations, assigns labor, manages production schedules, and maintains high standards for productivity, safety, and craftsmanship.
Inspects and documents work throughout the build, modification, service, and finishing processes to verify standards are met before customer delivery.
Leads engineering and technical development of custom vehicles, restomods, performance systems, chassis components, and custom fabricated parts.
Creates 2D/3D CAD models, renderings, 3D scans, and digital fabrication files (CNC, laser, waterjet, 3D printing) for custom builds.
Designs and integrates electrical architectures, custom wiring harnesses, EFI systems, instrumentation, lighting, and CAN-based vehicle technology.
Leads complete custom and restomod builds from intake through delivery, managing scope, budget, schedule, team coordination, and customer communication.
Provides technical leadership for metal fabrication operations while performing high-level custom welding, sheet metal shaping, chassis modifications, and exhaust work.
Executes custom metalwork, TIG/MIG welding, sheet-metal forming, chassis modifications, and panel fitting for custom automotive builds.
Handles disassembly, engine/transmission installation, drivetrain assembly, suspension, brakes, cooling, and custom plumbing on custom builds.
Installs and troubleshoots 12V electrical systems, wiring harnesses, EFI, digital dashes, lighting, audio, and power accessories.
Crafts and installs custom automotive interiors, including seats, headliners, carpet, door panels, leather/vinyl work, and trim fabrication.
Safely transports custom builds, classic vehicles, and customer cars locally and regionally using flatbed, trailer, or enclosed equipment.
Leads the service and performance department, managing workflow, estimates, and customer resolution while providing senior technical diagnostics.
Acts as primary customer contact for maintenance, repair, and performance upgrades, handling estimates, repair orders, and project updates.
Performs mechanical maintenance, system repairs, and complex troubleshooting on classic, custom, performance, and restomod vehicles.
Operates 2WD/4WD dynamometers, performs EFI tuning, engine management programming, data logging, and performance validation.
Handles multi-wheel alignments, suspension setup, corner balancing, custom wheel/tire fitment, and chassis tuning for specialty cars.
Leads the paint and body department, overseeing body restoration, panel alignment, color development, spray booth operations, and show finishes.
Executes body restoration, sheet-metal repair, rust removal, panel replacement, gap alignment, and composite body repairs.
Prepares vehicle bodies and panels for custom refinishing, including block sanding, masking, priming, sealing, and booth prep.
Executes wet sanding, paint correction, ceramic coating, interior/exterior detailing, and final vehicle presentation for deliveries and shows.
Operates wet/dry media blasting equipment to strip paint, rust, and coatings from vehicle bodies, frames, and components safely.
Leads sourcing, purchasing, vendor negotiation, and inventory control of parts, consumables, and materials for builds and service.
Receives, inspects, labels, stores, and issues parts and materials, maintaining organized inventory rooms and project staging.
Manages overall financial accounting, job costing, work-in-process tracking, office administration, and business controls.
Supports day-to-day bookkeeping, AP/AR, payroll processing, job costing entry, and general office administrative operations.
Manages front-office communications, welcomes visitors, schedules appointments, routes phone calls, and updates CRM records.
Develops business opportunities, qualifies custom build/restomod inquiries, prepares proposals, and manages customer sales pipelines.
Manages brand strategy, social media content, build stories, public relations, trade shows, community outreach, and Pistons for Patriots programs.
